I Am More Than My Cancer: Adirondack Winter Weekend Celebration

BOLTON LANDING – Lake George Kayak Company is sponsoring “I Am More Than My Cancer: An Adirondack Winter Weekend Celebration,” to benefit the Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research. This fundraising event will take place Friday-Sunday, Feb. 2-4, on Lake George at The Sagamore resort, a sponsor and home base for all activities. This multifaceted weekend is an opportunity for novice and experienced adventurers to celebrate life. Activities will include a snowshoe trek over Cat and Thomas mountains, a high ropes challenge course, a bonfire/tribute flag ceremony, candlelight labyrinth walk on the frozen lake and plenty of pampering at The Sagamore. Participants can connect with one another, whether they are battling cancer, celebrating survivorship, supporting a loved one or honoring someone. In addition to Expedition Inspiration, monies raised will support To Life! breast cancer education/support services in the ten-county Capital Region.
