Wear Your Lid
Regarding your wearing
a helmet, I second your plea. This spring [while riding my bike] I took
a forward-pitching fall onto a wooden bridge. I wasn't going fast enough
to tuck in my head and roll onto my back, and my visor and front of the
helmet took the full force of the fall. I ended (endoed?) up with two
scratches on my nose; if it hadn't been for the helmet I'm sure I would
have had a serious or fatal head injury. So keep preaching the message!

Whatssssupppp!?
What a magazine!!!!
You should be proud. I hope it's a roaring success. We could use one in
Jersey.

Roostercomb
I enjoyed reading
through your paper and seeing the view from Roostercomb. I am one of the
many that helped Tony clear and hazelhoe the trail.

Club Day
I work at EMS in
Crossgates Mall, Albany. We are a distributor of your magazine
Adirondack Sports & Fitness. We see it as a great way to reach
our customers. On Thursday, October 26 from 10:00am-9:30am we are having
our semi-annual Club Day sale where anyone who belongs to an outdoor organization
such as ADK, AMC, Boy/Girl Scouts, Bike, and Ski clubs, to name a few,
can receive 20% off ANYTHING within the store. [This also applies to the
EMS in Lake Placid].On Friday, October 20 from 7:00-9:00pm EMS will host
its "Meet the Club Night," a good way for people to learn more about local
outdoor clubs in the area, what they offer, and why they should join.
