Thank You
I read the Athlete
Profile article it was great! The whole magazine looks really good, congratulations.
I think thats the best profile written on me, and you know there
have been many. It turned out really nice.

note: Congratulations to Maribeth and her mother, Marie, who competed
in their fourth Freihofers Run for Women in Albany on June 3. Their
time of sixty-two minutes was a personal best.
Bravo Sarah
I know what a lot
of folks are thinking? When is someone going to do a story on Sarah Crary??
Well your wait is over (Athlete
Profile, June). There is a profile in Adirondack Sports & Fitness,
a new (free) publication available at the Chamber office.

Mud Season
I picked up a copy
of your new magazine at Noon Mark diner in Keene. Had I actually read
it before my hike, I would have probably picked another mountain. (Avoid
Trails Above 3,000 feet until Mid-June, June). You are rightWright
was extremely muddybut still fun!

Good luck with your
publication. As an avid road cyclist, Ive already gleaned some new
cycling routes from your premier issue. By the way, nice shot of Lance
Armstrong on the cover! I hope Adirondack Sports & Fitness
finds itself a successful niche in the local market.

I thought your newspaper was an interesting and refreshing look at sports
and fitness in our area. I particulary enjoyed scanning the Race Results,
and the upcoming Calender of Events was useful for planning my races.
I'm
now looking forward to your newspaper each month. Good luck and keep up
the good work!

My neighbor gave me this copy. Congratulations, the magazine is really
neat and has lots of good information in itall in one place. Heres
a check for a 1-year subscription. I love the picture of your son, Justin!
(And, the picture of Lance isnt bad either!)

As someone who loves enjoying sports both in the Capital District and
the North Country I am most interested in your new magazine. Many thanks.

I happened to see the first printed edition a few weeks ago; I thought
it was a good start. There are a tremendous variety of recreational and
competitive events happening in the area, and it's nice to see a single
publication trying to portray that diversity. One element of the paper
that I think is great is the local Athlete Profiles. There are a lot of
recreational and competitive athletes participating in sports that never
make it to the general newspapers. The folks who compete in many of these
events are tremendously dedicated, balancing work, or school, family obligations
and training, usually with little sponsorship and even less recognition.
It would be great to bring well-deserved attention to them. Good luck
with the paper.

I really enjoyed the first edition of Adirondack Sports & Fitness
and think that it will be a huge success in this area.

Thanks for dropping off copies of Adirondack Sports & Fitness
at the Colonie Library. It looks like something our patrons would pick
up in a hurry.

You are doing a great job. I liked your first publication and I can definitely
see where it fills a gap and helps to bring more awareness of the Adirondacks.

Great job on the paper! I picked up a copy at Steiners Sports and
got some ideas to get outdoors for my son's birthday from it. I took him
(or should I say he took me) mountain biking down in Windham. As a result
of an ad in your paper I promised to take him to dirt camp put on by High
Peaks Cyclery. I may even learn how to handle some of the rocks that we
encountered last week!

The premier issue of your new publication looks great. My husband,
daughter and I really love hiking - so thanks for all that your magazine
provides on that topic. I wish you lots of food fortune with it!
